A GREEN business is a philosophy and not a trend. To me, being GREEN has to do with my existence on earth in this moment in life. It all begins within. If I am honoring my wholeness, I am taking that love and light on the inside and extending it to the outside taking care of the environment by the compassion I feel within. I have recognized that my thoughts and actions do have a strong impact and that I am responsible to take all necessary measures possible to bring the message sustainability to public awareness. Every day, as a business owner, I have to make decisions and each decision has its own footprint. The only way to share this important mission is that I must start with self LOVE and spread the message of LOVE in my actions. People always ask me, "How was your medical spa green?" To answer this question, I created a list of why Green America, following their intense 6-month screening process, gave Holeco Wellness Medi Spa the recognition to be the first medical spa in the USA that is GREEN.

When it came to private labeling my own lifestyle products, there was no question as to how GREEN and dedicated I would create them from supplier through to production measures that were in my hands would be taken towards eco-friendliness. Here are some of the steps we have taken:

reusable: for our local market, we are offering the option of bringing selected items to our salon so we can refill the product for them such as “eco-body lotion”, “eco-body wash”, “eco-body oil” and “eco-bug spray”
using renewable energy to offset the carbon footprint for our electricity and traveling
setting up a local lab to prepare the products and hiring local help
reuse of boxes and packaging materials
use only eco-friendly packaging for the “eco-baby gift set” and “eco-candles”
teaching and educating when setting up local accounts to help spread the message of unity, conformity and community
